I am a banker by profession, traveller by passion.
source url I have found time to travel to many countries and live in 2 countries (3 if Scotland ever does becomes one!) and 6 cities during my career in finance. I was a diplomat first and started in the Indian Foreign Service with my first posting being Paris – The City of Light. And began my lifelong love of travel and coffee there! An MBA followed and I’ve been in finance since.
http://kaitlynweathers.com/show/0924-la-county-fair/ I always find time to travel, with friends, family or alone and once took my 8 month old firstborn on a World Tour starting from India, going across the Far East and then hopping over the Atlantic, on a 2000 mile road trip across California culminating in Las Vegas. While this isn’t an initiation for all newborns in our family by any means, it certainly is symptomatic of mine and my husband’s love for travel.
http://lostdauphins.com/?feed=gigpress Among my other, more off-beat travel experiences, I’m lucky to count camping under the stars in the Nubra Valley in Ladakh and cruising the Galapagos Islands, to name just a few. I can testify to the view from the peak of Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and Everest Base Camp in Nepal. I love good food and wine, and some of my most memorable travel experiences have been learning the art of Peruvian cuisine in Cuzco, and spending a weekend sampling wines in Bordeaux. To know more about my wine I have completed a course in Wine from the Wine and Spirit Education Society in London.
And coffee holds a special place in my hear and my collection of coffee mugs from everywhere brings back coffee memories of that place…..Mmmm
